What I Do

I work the Prevention Program Coordinator for the Tobacco Use Prevention Program at the Georgia Public Health Office in Athens, GA. I also serve as the district's webmaster. Other professional interests include: infectious disease prevention, issues related to aging, internet/web as a health education tool.

Education

I hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Health Promotion and Behavior (Public Health Education) from the University of Georgia.

Other Interests/Life Outside Public Health

Is there life outside public health? Sometimes I wonder....

I enjoy computers, surfing the web, reading. I also have developed a serious hobby of digital photography. Currently I am using a Konica/Minolta Z2, but have also had success with Fuji, Olympus and Nikon.

I am an officer for the Royston Friends of the Library. Currently I am the President. I also handle most of the public relations for the group.
