Our Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in the library; to focus public attention on the library; to help publicize the library's resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the library; and to lend other support where needed.
What do we do?
We
typically hold 1-2 book sales each year - in late April (generally newer,
hardcover books - usually bestsellers from the past couple of years).
Books are also available year-round at the library - so stop by and check
out their selection!
The money raised from the book sales and raffles is used to support library programs such as the Vacation (Summer) Reading Program, Pre-School Storytime and other day-to-day activities and materials not provided by the local and regional systems/supporters.
