Our MissionThe purpose of this organization shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in the library; to focus public attention on the library; to help publicize the library's resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the library; and to lend other support where needed. What do we do?We
typically hold 1-2 book sales each year - in late April (generally newer,
hardcover books - usually bestsellers from the past couple of years). The money raised from the book sales and raffles is used to support library programs such as the Vacation (Summer) Reading Program, Pre-School Storytime and other day-to-day activities and materials not provided by the local and regional systems/supporters.
